Instagram DM as a sales channel: how the AI bot replies in Direct
We connected Instagram to EzguSavdo — now the AI seller replies in Direct Messages of your business profile. Here is how it works.
Instagram is the second most popular sales channel in Uzbekistan after Telegram. Thousands of stores maintain their catalog in posts and stories while taking orders in Direct. The problem: DM replies need to be fast, and managers cannot keep up.
Now EzguSavdo can sell directly in Instagram DM.
What the buyer sees
A customer opens your Instagram profile, browses products in the feed and sends a Direct Message: “How much is the iPhone 15?” or “Is it in stock?”
The AI seller replies instantly — searches the catalog, quotes the price, suggests accessories, negotiates within your rules. Everything works just like Telegram, but in the familiar Instagram interface.
What is supported
- Two-way text messages
- Product search across your catalog
- Controlled negotiation (pricing engine)
- Cart and order checkout
- Customer memory across sessions
- Product photos in replies
What is not yet supported
- Voice messages (Instagram API does not expose audio)
- Inline buttons (Instagram does not support them — the bot writes options as text)
- Stories and comments (Direct Messages only)
How to connect
- You need an Instagram Business or Creator account
- The account must be linked to a Facebook Page
- In the EzguSavdo admin panel go to “Channels” then “Instagram”
- Authorize through Meta and grant the required permissions
- Done — the bot will start replying in DM
Setup takes about 10 minutes. Your catalog, bargaining rules and customer memory are shared across all channels.
Who is this for
If your customers come from Instagram (and in cosmetics, clothing, perfume and kids products that is the majority), connecting Instagram DM expands your reach without hiring additional managers.
One AI seller. Every messenger. Unified analytics.
